Could we take this opportunity to thank those people who made the last 4 years of the Saltash May Fair, covered on this site, possible.

Putting on an event like the May Fair is hard work and unpaid work. Contrary to many beliefs, it is not run by the Town Council. So all those involved are giving their time for the sole purpose of doing something for their community. Each year the Fair has got bigger, better and increased in numbers of those attending. We have attracted those from afar as well as from the local community.

We would  like to thank all of you that came out and supported on the day.

Of course these events are supported by the Saltash Town Council and one or two local businesses. With out such support it would be very difficult to fund the event.

 

From 2012 the Saltash May Fair is being run by a new committee. It also has a new name Saltash Lions May Fair. We wish them all the success that we, the outgoing committee, have enjoyed over the last few years.  

New ideas and fresh faces can be a good way to move forward. So look out for their new web site and enjoy the 2012 Saltash Lions May Fair.
